Fela.net, the newly relaunched website for all thingsFela Kuti, has released a new playlist curated by Ziggy Marley consisting of six of his favorite Fela songs. The list includes many of the afrobeat pioneer's career-defining records, including "Water No Get Enemy," "Lady," and the politically-charged "Zombie." Ziggy tops off his list with Fela's brilliant 1977 tune "Shuffering and Shmiling." The Jamaican musician spoke about his deep-seated connection to Fela Kuti and his music with Fela.net, “Fela is one of my biggest influences in a very spiritual sense. His music is spirit and so is Fela.
