Yemi Alade's 'Johnny' Is The Most Viewed Nigerian Music Video On Youtube

Yemi Alade's smash hit "Johnny" has become the highest-viewed Nigerian music video on Youtube, according to NotJustOk.

At nearly 79 million views, "Johnny" has narrowly surpassed P-Square's "Personally," which previously held the 'most watched' title for Nigerian artists.

Yemi Alade's music video, which was uploaded back in 2014, follows the cheating "Johnny"—played by Nigerian actor/model Alex Ekubo—as he lies about his flings with several women.

The afropop star singer's announced the release of her third studio album, Black Magic, which is due later this year. It'll be the follow-up to 2016's Mama Africa (The Diary of An African Woman).

Relive the magic of the "Johnny" video, and its Selebobo-produced beat, below.
