In March Davidoannounced that he was teaming with Philly's own Meek Mill for what we presume is only the beginning of a growing trend of high-profile Naija / U.S. rap and pop star collaborations.
Hitting even harder than we anticipated, the Shizzi-produced, afro-trap-beats track they recorded together, "Fans Mi," is here as of today. Also out today, the Sesan-directed video, which Davido previously described as "the biggest video of his career," sees the very recent graduate O.B.O. and the Maybach Music Group rapper engage in a series of extravagant and what very much look like illegal activities, but turn out to be prep work for pounded yam.
