AKA And Diamond Platnumz Drop Their Big Tanzania-Meets-South Africa Collaboration 'Make Me Sing'

“Dar es Salaam put your drink up!”

Tanzania meets South Africa in this big new collaboration from Diamond Platnumz and AKA.

“Make Me Sing” follows the two superstars as they woo and serenade girls over a Tudd Tomas-produced steel drum beat. Diamond Platnumz delivers some romantic croons, while AKA raps about his ‘queen’ and drops a “Chop My Money” reference.

The Johannesburg-shot music video, directed by Nicky, sees the pair robbing a bank and subsequently spending all of the cash on girls and a mansion house party—things don’t end well for them though.

AKA’s currently at NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto where he’ll be playing the first edition of our Africa In The 6 party tonight alongside DJ Fanatic and Everyday People’s DJ Moma (flyer underneath). RSVP to the event at Toronto@okayafrica.com.
