To mark the release, Africa Express has shared the full Roland Hamilton-directed film that accompanies the composition, which features many of the recording's players and was shot on a drive along Malian streets. Africa Express will be screening an exclusive Director’s Cut premiere of Tate Modern and AfricaExpress present… Terry Riley’s In C Mali, an interactive film featuring a live performance of the piece led by conductor André de Ridder, at Rough Trade East on February 5. Africa Express Presents: Terry Riley's In C Mali is available now from Transgressive Records.
