Bay Area soulstress Goapele sat down with Out Da Box TV for this feature clip in promotion of  her upcoming Break of Dawn LP. As our boy Eddie "STATS" points out over on Okayplayer, the activist singer didn't simply stick to self promotion but also provided insightful words on "her roots in the Anti-Apartheid movement (her original musical inspiration: Letta Mbulu!), her work with troubled youth and her general philosophy of music and life."

Watch the full interview above and check out the music video for Break of Dawn's first single "Play," below. Break of Dawn drops Oct. 24 via Skyblaze/Decon Records.
