Afrobeat co-creator & percussion pioneer Tony Allen recently got together with La Blogothèque to film A Take Away Show at Paris' Le Comptoir Général. The intimate video follows the legendary afrobeat drummer as he prepares his sticks and plays a number of impressive solo drum rhythms & patterns from a striking green house. Tony Allen is coming off releasing one of our favorite albums of 2014, Film of Life, which featured the likes of Damon Albarn and The Jazzbastards. The afrobeat legend is also included in the recent 30-track African All-Stars compilation.
