The People Versus The Rainbow Nation sparked a South Africa-wide discussion last month when it aired on MTV and MTV Base. Now the documentary is available to watch online.

Directed by Lebogang Rasethaba and produced by former Okayafrica team member Allison Swank, the film investigates the unrest at the root of the #FeesMustFall movement, following the lives of students across four South African universities while exploring the notion that more than two decades since South Africa’s first democratic elections, the struggle is far from over.

The documentary features commentary by the likes of Nina Hastie, Simphiwe Dana, Nakhane Toure, Gareth Cliff, Reason, Lebohang Nova Masango, Milisuthando Bongela, Pearl Thusi and Gugu Mhlungu.
