First Look: Tongoro's Stunning Dakar-Made Summer Collection

SENEGAL—Dakar-based fashion house, Tongoro, shares its stunning new collection just in time for the summer.

The self-proclaimed "first affordable fashion label made in Africa," sources its materials from the continent and is handcrafted by local tailors.

Its creator, Sarah Diouf is committed to championing African design. In February, she wrote an open letter about creative integrity to fashion label, Yves Saint Laurent, after the brand stole her design during New York Fashion Week.

Diouf hasn't slowed down on account of the incident, her new line is stronger than ever with its collection of  awe-worthy bell sleeved tops, dazzling sequined trousers and many more fashion forward items.

Today, we give you an exclusive look at her latest collection.
