Solidstar Teams Up With Patoranking and Tiwa Savage for the Dancehall Refix of ‘Wait’
The video arrives ahead of Solidstar’s third studio album, 'Weed.'
Achieva Entertainment’s top act Solidstar delivers a remix music video for his popular reggae-dancehall infused single “Wait.”
It features Nigerian dancehall star Patorankingand Jay Z’s new Roc Nation signee Tiwa Savage a.k.a #DoroDiva. This is the second time around we’ve seen them show off their onscreen chemistry, since they paired up for the hit “Girlie O.”
Directed by Avalon Okpe, the video arrives ahead of Solidstar’s third studio album, and it sounds 420-friendly, as it’s entitled, Weed.
The visuals from Tokindrumz Pictures are straightforward with a socially conscious message. They depict Solidstar spittin' game at Tiwa Savage until she tells him she wants to wait until marriage before taking the plunge sexually.
It’s a follow-up to Solidstar’s “Wait,” which featured Nigerian pop star Davido, released in the spring.
