Sinkane's been a busy man this year touring around North America and Europe in promotion of his latest full-length Mean Love (out now on DFA Records) and acting as the musical director & bandleader of the William Onyeabor ATOMIC BOMB! band. The Sudanese-born, Brooklyn-based songwriter will be returning home this coming November 2, bringing his funk melodies & polyrhythms for a night at SOB's alongside the Latin American soundscapes of Helado Negro.
