Newcomer rapper Rilgood's twitter bio describes him as "the king of Nigeria, in Brooklyn." Born in Ibadan, Rilgood's migration to New York City is easily spotted in his laid-back East Coast delivery and imagery. "Ghost In The Machine," a hazy highlight off his previously featuredKingdom mixtape, is inspired by a Mandela quote which Rilgood connects to the treatment of inner-city youth: "There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children."
