Revivalist's African Jazz Issue: Ebo Taylor's Life Stories

Head over to Revivalist to check out their feature on the newest Ebo Taylor album, Life Stories.  The Ghanian guitarist, who just released his latest project on Strut Records, offers a retrospective of his solo career as well as some more obscure releases. His career, spanning decades, reveals Taylor as front-man for two of the largest Ghanian bands in history: Broadway Dance Band and Stargazers - both of which prefigured the Blackstar Highlife Band, which would create a sound that blended West African and Ghanian tradional sounds with western jazz and funk.  For the full story, visit Revivalist now.
