Petite Noir Shares Glorious New 'Just Breathe' Video

It’s been just over a year since Noirwave founder Yannick Ilunga put out his debut album, La Vie Est Belle / Life Is Beautiful, one of our favourite records of 2015. Under the creative direction of drone goddess Rharha Nembhard, the project's roll-out has been nothing short of visually spectacular.

12 months since the album's release last September, Petite Noir now shares a new video for the free-floating Noirwave anthem "Just Breathe."

Directed by London-based photographer and videographer Modu Sesay with creative direction from Nembhard, the black-and-white visuals beautifully capture the rise of Noirwave over the past year, weaving together footage from Ilunga, Nembhard and the Petite Noir band's travels throughout South Africa, Madeira, Portugal and London.

Watch above. And in more Petite Noir news, Ilunga produced and features on the brilliant third track off Danny Brown's just-released new album, Atrocity Exhibition.
