London production duo Blludd Relations remix Owiny Sigoma Band's 'Yukimwi.'

Owiny Sigoma Band 'Yukimwi (Blludd Relations Remix)'

Nairobi/London soundclash Owiny Sigoma Band recently received the remix treatment from London production duo Blludd Relations. Undergoing the knife was "Yukimi," the latest offering from the Gilles Peterson-affiliated seven-piece. Chopped and pitch bent to Blludd Relation standards, the head-nodding slow burner takes on a distorted uptempo feel thanks to Jesse Hackett and Bullion's handy work. The remix, which premiered on Boiler Room, is a testament to the band's growing popularity following a successful sophomore showing on Power Punch. Stream "Yukimi" in its original and remixed form below, out now via Brownswood Recordings.
