NYC: Tiken Jah Fakoly-Saturday

Pony riding rasta and Côte d’Ivoire reggae icon Tiken Jah Fakoly will grace Central Park Summer Stage this Saturday at 3:00pm to wrap up the final concert of the Africa Series. Born into a griot family, Fakoly is known for his politically charged lyrics as well as an extensive carrier. Supporting artists include Brooklyn based Meta and The Cornerstones, a band whos players parts come from Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Japan, Texas, Israel, and Lebanon. Yes that's where they are from- you're not going crazy. This weekend on the other hand IS going to be crazy with all the non- stop events- See you in the field!
