Mr Eazi’s “Panadol” is a gift that keeps on giving. The song, infused with infectious melodies and laid-back delivery, now has a visually stunning and playful video to match.

Taken from his critically acclaimed album The Evil Genius, the Type-A-produced single is now accompanied by a video that perfectly captures the carefree, joyous spirit of the track. Directed by Mollana Burke for JM Films (known for work with Stormzy and Burna Boy) and recorded in the dashing city of Ouidah, Benin, the “Panadol” video showcases the dynamic scenes and rich colors that perfectly highlight the song’s themes of ease and living in the moment, adding an extra layer of charm to an already hearty track.

Mr Eazi is one of the most streamed African artists across the globe, with over 4 billion streams. The “Pour Me Water” and “Leg Over” hitmaker has also collaborated with global superstars like Beyoncé and Bad Bunny. Beyond music, Eazi is an accomplished entrepreneur; he founded emPawa Africa in 2018 and grew it into one of the continent’s largest independent music companies, responsible for launching stars like Joeboy and Major League Djz.

The Evil Genius is a groundbreaking fusion of African music and visual art, featuring 16 unique physical art pieces commissioned from contemporary visual artists across Africa, each representing a track on the album. As the year progresses, Mr. Eazi’s fans can look forward to more exciting releases, with the Afrobeats star hinting at new singles and a surprise EP before the year’s end.
