Audio: Joey le Soldat 'Ce Monde' + 'Songtond' [Download]


Burkinabe rapper Joey Le Soldat, known for his partnership with Art Melody under the moniker Waga 3000, is readying his debut solo album La Parole Est Mon Arme (The Word Is My Weapon). "Ce Monde" and "Songtond" are the first tastes we get from that LP release which showcases a raw and realistic take on true life in Burkina Faso and, as Tentacule Records state, "carries on the fight of Burkinabe journalist Norbert Zongo, the director of the newspaper l'Indépendant [who] was savagely murdered on December 13th, 1998.
