Seun Kuti is back.

The afrobeat torchbearer is sharing a new 3-song EP, Struggle Sounds, alongside Egypt 80, the band he took over from his father, Fela, and has been playing with for years.

The new EP was co-produced by Robert Glasper, who also did production work for Seun's last album A Long Way To The Beginning.

“More than ever we are convinced of our mission and the purpose of our music,” mentions Seun. “The Struggle Sounds EP is a true reflection of my social and political beliefs. I give honor to my parents and every revolutionary who made this possible even before I was born.”

The new release features the political-charged lead single “Gimme My Vote Back (C.P.C.D.)”—C.P.C.D. stands for Corporate Public Control Department.
