NEW YORK CITY—Here's one for all the afrobeats lovers in NYC:


Join OkayAfrica and DJ Tunez, this Memorial Day weekend for the latest edition of "Afrobeat Nights." The Brooklyn-based musicians has spun records for Naija heavyweights like  Wizkid, Davido and Asa, to name a few.

He'll be live on the ones and twos for a night of music, dance and non-stop partying. Last Afrobeat Night, Tunez tore down the house along with Ghanaian singer Efya and a groovy live band. This weekend's party is on deck to be just as live.

It's all going down on Sunday (May 28) at Sounds of Brazil (SOBS) in New York City. You can purchase tickets for the event, here.
