Idris Elba's New Netflix Comedy 'Turn Up Charlie' Will Premiere in March

We'll soon be seeing Idris Elba in his DJ-nanny glory soon on Netflix, Varietyreports.

Back in April the streaming service announced that the actor will star in Turn Up Charlie, another comedy that reflects more of what he's experienced in life pre-stardom. The series is set to premiere on March 15, where Elba also snags co-creator and co-producer credits.

In eight episodes, we'll see Elba play a struggling DJ and bachelor, who in a final opportunity at success, reluctantly tacks on a nanny hustle for his famous best friend's daughter.

Elba is also set to spin at Coachella this year (check out the full line-up here), and for some reason, folks on Twitter just woke up to the fact that he's just that talented.

Turn Up Charlie also stars Piper Perabo and JJ Feild, featuring Angela Griffin, Guz Jocelyn Jee Esein, Jade Anouka, Cameron King and Dustin Demri-Burns.
