Nollywood Vet & Director Genevieve Nnaji Signs with Major Talent Agency, UTA

Nollywood's own Genevieve Nnaji continues to position herself for world domination with this new move.

The actress, who recently made her directorial debut in Lionheart, has signed with UTA, a premier global talent agency, Deadlinereports. She continues to be represented by 3 Arts Entertainment.

Lionheart recently made its world premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. It was soon picked up by Netflix, making it the first original Nigerian feature film to debut on the streaming service.

Speaking with CNN'sQuest Means Business, Nnaji stresses how stories coming out of Nigeria are just as relatable as any story on film.

"I've realized that language is the only barrier we have," she says in the interview. "We can all identify with culture—we all identify with pain and with love."
