Knitting Factory Records has released the second set in their series of curated Fela Kuti vinyl reissues. This collection comes handpicked by drummer/percussionist and early 70s Fela collaborator Ginger Baker (Cream/Blind Faith). The box set includes suchs gems as Live with Ginger Baker (1971), Roforofo Fight (1972), Confusion (1974), Alagbon Close (1974), He Miss Road (1975) and Na Poi (1976)
In addition, the set comes with a "12 page full-color booklet with an essay by Ginger Baker and album descriptions by veteran British music journalist Chris May," as well as a poster designed by H. Cuadrado. All of the original vinyl artwork was painstakingly recreated for each cover. Grab it below via KFR!
