You Need To Watch These African Aunties Battle It Out for Leftovers

This comedy skit dramatically exposes what happens when African aunties gather their leftovers before leaving the function—and we can't stop laughing.

The small talk, gossip and banter is brief but heavy, as the aunties all acknowledge that there are leftovers as they eye each other with fake smiles. Once the clouds cover the sun, the battle begins.

Watch it all unfold below.

This skit is from Famalam, a new BBC comedy sketch show that doesn't hold back on all areas of Black British life. The show is on a four-episode run after its pilot aired last year, The Guardiansays. Created by Akemnji Ndifornyen, Famalam stars BAFTA nominee Samson Kayo, Vivienne Acheampong, Gbemisola Ikumelo, John MacMillan, Tom Moutchi and Roxanne Sternberg.

A contestant of “Latéy: Looking for Love!” meets Messiah, the bachelor at the center of the show.
