Okayafrica is excited to be a part of Pharoahe Monch's second coming to Cape Town! Next Wednesday, 6th August, Okayplayer-for-life Pharoahe Monch and DJ Revolution will be performing at Zula on Long Street. The show marks Monch's first performance in CT since the 2012 Cape Town Jazz Festival. Brooklyn's own MC Whosane will open up backed by a live band, Cape Town's TheCITY, plus DJ ONQ. Rumour has it one of our favorite Cape Town residents, who we won't name here, might maybe mos definitely make a surprise appearance at the show. But you didn't hear it from us.
