Design: Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B Spring 2011 Collection

We've seen tribal prints appropriated, re-cut and re-crafted a million times, but never like this – Gwen Stefani does it right. She has clearly taken inspiration from Africa Fashion Week and all the awesome designers coming out of Africa. Her L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 collection is all about prints. She combines Ankara textiles, wax-blocking and other funky patterns like plaid and ikat into mini-dresses, trousers, jumpers, crop tops, and accessories. Though usually tough to do and mix, these looks work. I want to wear everything in her 47-piece collection and if I could pull them off, I totally would.
