D’Banj Stopped a Performance to Help a Female Fan Who Was Being Assaulted

A video of Nigerian pop superstar D'Banj halting a performance at Phyno Fest to make sure a fan in the audience was okay has surfaced on Twitter.

The video was shared by the account @AfricaFactsZone, and was captioned: "D'banj stopped his performance at Phynofest 2017 in Enugu State, to help a female fan who was being assaulted. Upload: @TheViralTrendz."

It's not clear what exactly happened to the young woman, as the video starts just as D'Banj is about to stop performing and asks, "Is she okay?" But while the Koko Master is on stage, he notices she's in trouble, and pauses his show and asks his people to get her back on her feet again.

The young woman is seen crying as she is being helped up on her feet. Whatever was the cause of the fan's troubles, big-ups to the Koko Master.
