Kwaku The Traveller” singer-rapper Black Sherif connects with British pop singer Mabel in a tune that calls for peace and healing.

In “Zero,” the pair do their part to urge the masses to prioritize positivity and acceptance on a track produced by Joker. The single seems to address the drama that comes with stardom, as neither performers are strangers to harsh words being spewed at them from anonymous faces on social media, as well as the overwhelming aspects of being a part of the global music industry. Despite it all, Sherif and Mabel are doing their best to avoid the drama and stay aligned with their inner wisdom and desire for rest.

Sherif shared his excitement for the release with his followers on X (formerly Twitter) saying, “Art we made at our most vulnerable state, thank you for performing with me Mabel, ZERO out Friday.”

The music video, directed by UK creative Troy Roscoe, features a number of enraged individuals fighting while the Konongo-born Sherif vocalizes his disinterest in the chaos with lyrics like, “See no drama, heal from your trauma.”

Mabel’s honey coated vocals and angelic styling echo his words to “save your drama." The British singer manifests as the calm amidst a storm that goes so far as to conjure up a food fight. The musical duo create a tasty cross-continental experience that synchronously spotlights their unique sounds as well as their ability to transcend musical boundaries to create art. As the artists continue to dominate and redefine their respective genres, “Zero” points both in the right direction toward continued international reverence.
