We can always count on Wizkid to come through with the dance-worthy party jams, but he doesn't disappoint when he decides to slow things down a bit either.

With his latest single "Sweet Love," he does just that and— simply put—the track is fire.

In an interview with Beats 1 Radio, Wizkid explained that "Sweet Love" was inspired by his earlier hit "Ojuelegba," which helps explain its dulcet, reggae-inflected sound, and also why it's pretty much my new favorite track.

He also manages to throw in some Fela lyrics on the 3-and-a-half minute jam, which of course, only helps make the song that much more enjoyable.

In the accompanying music video, Wizkid gives fans a taste of what it's like to catch him on tour."The visual is made up from content of my live shows throughout Africa, which will give my fans a real insight and feel of me performing back home," he told Fader.

As you've probably heard, Wizkid recently announced a multi-album deal with RCA Records/Sony Music International.

"It’s hard for me to describe what I do, since I work with rhythms from Afro-Beat, reggae, hip-hop, dance hall and others," Wizkid tells Billboard in a new statement about his record deal. "What’s important to me is for music to be real, authentic, raw and timeless. I don’t wanna be boxed in to any one genre."
