Kobi Onyame 'Glory'

Ghanaian-UK-based emcee Kobi Onyame's 'Glory' LP is out now. The mantra-heavy follow-up to 'Green Green Grasses' takes cues from a hip-hop of yesterday.

Kobi Onyame 'Glory'

Ghanaian/UK-based emcee Kobi Onyame's latest full length is a victory lap on the heels of his debut Green Green Grasses. Glory takes cues from a hip-hop of yesterday, like an ode to the thoughtful rhymes of A Tribe Called Quest. Onyame has become the UK hip-hop game's unintentional preacher of sunny vibes, a professor of Atmosphere-like testaments to life. Glory is a raise-up joint, an "uplifting good for your soul" cousin of "Can't Hold Us." Listen to the album in its entirety and watch the video for soulful gem "Goodbye World, Hello" below. Glory is available now on iTunes.
