For their upcoming release, aces of crate-digging Awesome Tapes From Africa travel to Ethiopia to uncover an instrumental treasure. On his 1985 cassette, accordion/keyboardist Hailu Mergia bathed traditional Ethiopian works in a breezy layers of accordion and analog synth.
