Vieux Farka Touré linked up with Israeli keyboardist/songwriter Idan Raichel for an "unscripted recording session that took place one afternoon in November 2010 in a small Tel Aviv studio." The two are now releasing the instrumental fruits of that meeting as The Touré-Raichel Collective, which also feature Malian calabash player Souleymane Kane Yossi Fine and bassist Yossi Fine.
