Coming straight out of Ghana, "Dey Suffer" was recorded and produced by Richy Pitch, with vocals from Yasmeen, daughter of the legendary West African producer Faisal Helwani (Hedzolleh & Bunzu Sounds). The song "Dey Suffer" describes the emigration out of Africa which has created a ‘brain drain,’ with qualified people leaving for wealthier pastures. As Yasmeen explains: "Africans love their motherland, but she's suffering so we all leave to find better fortune elsewhere." DJ Vadim's remix of "Dey Suffer" is 8 minutes of great electro/afrobeat, that takes nothing away from the original beauty of the song, just adds an upbeat tempo.
