Young Fathers Perform 'White Men Are Black Men Too' Songs Live On KEXP
Young Fathers perform "Nest," "Rain Or Shine," "Old Rock N Roll," and "Shame" off 'White Men Are Black Men Too' live on KEXP.
Currently on the road in North America for their first headlining tour, Young Fathers stopped by Seattle's KEXP for the second time to perform four songs off their sophomore album, White Men Are Black Men Too, including "Nest," "Rain Or Shine," "Old Rock N Roll," and "Shame." In April, the Scottish / Nigerian / Liberian trio released the follow-up to their Mercury Prize-winning debut album, DEAD. The 12-track LP was written and recorded on the road throughout their 2014 tour and finished at their Edinburgh studio. The group have a few North American dates left before they head back to the UK. In September they'll headline Malawi's Lake Of Stars. Watch the full KEXP session below. White Men Are Black Men Too is available now via Ninja Tune, Amazon, and iTunes. For more on Young Fathers, watch them speak with Okayafrica TV at SXSW 2014.
