Tunji Ige Shares ‘Prince of July’ Mixtape Timed With His 21st Birthday
“Hard music for hard times.”
July 12, 2016
Philadelphia rapper on the come up Tunji Ige turned 21 Friday, so in celebration of being able to legally pop champagne, he created the birthday soundtrack Prince of July to share with his fans.
“I made music I would like to listen to for my 21st. Hope you enjoy. Hard music for hard times," the Nigerian emcee posts on Soundcloud.
Switching up the laid-back vibe of his April release Missed Calls, the summer-ready, eight-track project features guest contributions from Stephen Ponce, Gravez, Prince of July and Heaven in Stereo. Ige handled the bass-heavy production, himself.
