Listen to an Amapiano Remix of Tshego’s Hit ‘No Ties’ Featuring King Monada and MFR Souls

MFR Souls recently gave Tshego's hit single "No Ties" an amapiano remix. The MFR Souls duo is one of the frontrunners of the amapiano subgenre which gained mainstream popularity in South Africa last year.

The remix for "No Ties" comes with the customary amapiano bassline and a selection of pads and prominent percussion. Tshego and King Monada's vocals sit as if they were originally constructed over the bouncy instrumental.

The original version of "No Ties" was released in 2019 as the first single to Tshego's latest album Pink Panther which came out in the same year. The single was the first one the artist released after joining forces with Universal Music after leaving his previous home, Cassper Nyovest's imprint Family Tree.

The song was a crossover smash as it blended Tshego's hip-hop sheen and King Monada's auto-tune-heavy vocals which are usually heard over the biggest house hits from the artist.

Tshego has shown himself to fans as a versatile artist who doesn't obey any rules and sees no boundaries. His album was a cocktail of genres and influences and the result was an album that played out like a diverse playlist of songs curated by him.
