Tiffany Haddish opposite Jada Pinket Smith in "Girls Trip"

Tiffany Haddish is Producing a New Show on HBO

The "Girls Trip" star will executive produce "Unsubscribed," a look into blackness, beauty, identity and the Instagram hustle

Tiffany Haddish is set to executive produce a new show on HBO titled "Unsubscribe," according to Variety. It's described as "an examination of female blackness, beauty, and identity through a behind-the-scenes look at the Instagram hustle."

Haddish had a really good 2017. She was the breakout star of the comedic film 'Girls Trip', released a New York Times bestselling book The Last Black Unicorn, the first black female stand-up comic to host Saturday Night Live, and made GroupOn cool again. And she's not slowing down.

The show will be written and co-produced by Xosha Roquemore and Danielle Henderson. Henderson is a seasoned TV writer, having worked on shows like "Maniac," "Difficult People" and "Divorce." While this will be the first time writing and producing for Roquemore, she has had experience in front of the camera. She played the character Tamera in The Mindy Project for six seasons, as well as Jo Ann in the Oscar-nominated film Precious.

For Haddish, this show is her first project with HBO since they signed a two-year pact production company She Ready Productions. She's also set to executive produce a film with Paramount titled "Limited Partners," as well as "The Temp" with Universal. She'll also star in female-driven comedy "The Kitchen" with New Line, and "Night School" across Kevin Hart, which will be released this September.

In the meantime, you can catch Haddish on her new show The Last OG, where she plays a woman whose ex-boyfriend is released from prison on good behavior after serving 15 years. The show is created by Jordan Peele and John Carcieri and co-stars Tracy Morgan.
