Nigerian-British Actor Susan Wokoma Will Be a Series Regular in CBS Romcom Pilot, 'Super Simple Love Story'

The standout in "Chewing Gum" and "Crazyhead" has secured the bag across the pond and we're here for it.

American network television viewers will soon become familiar with Susan Wokoma. The Nigerian-British actor has been casted as a series regular in a new comedy pilot from CBS—Super Simple Love Story, Deadlinereports.

The series chronicles how "an unlikely couple becomes an unlikely family" over 10 years via interview and vignettes. Wokoma and The Daily Show's Ronny Chieng will star opposite Elizabeth Alderfer and David Walton, as well as Parker Young, Vanessa Marano and Laura Marano.

Abby, Wokoma's character, is Morgan's (Alderfer) friend and co-worker who's content to loathe her job as long as the checks keep coming in, while Morgan struggles with finding fulfillment in her job and relationship.
