The Looks That Caught Our Eye at South African Fashion Week 2024
Fashion weeks are a vibe, and South African Fashion Week this past weekend proved that Mzansi’s got style and flavor in check.
Fashion weeks are special events. Everyone present is dressed in their best fabrics, and every show feels important. South African Fashion Week, which took place at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg this past weekend was no different. The three-day event had every flavor of cool one can imagine. The variety of styles let one know just how seriously people take how they look.
One of the highlights of the weekend was the Mantsho showcase. Founder Palesa Mokubung demonstrated exactly how to work the runway when celebrating twenty years of elegant and bespoke high couture.
A lot of renowned Joburg figures, from Aspasia Carras, to Stogie T, and Neo Serati, showed up looking dapper.
