Listen to Skwatta Kamp’s New Song ‘Mama Akekho’ Featuring Assessa and Payseen

South African legendary hip-hop crew Skwatta Kamp have a new single. Titled "Mama Akekho," the song features the rapper Assessa and the singer Payseen.

In the spirit of summer, the song is light-hearted with the rappers talking about throwing a party, as mama isn't home. This is the kind of song you'd expect from a crew that has, in previous years, dropped songs like "Summer Song," "Feel Like Dancing" and "Ekasi."

Skwatta Kamp made a comeback in March when they released an emotional tribute song to their late member Flabba, who died in 2015. Prior to the song, SK had last released music in 2009 when they released the album Fair and Skwear.

The crew then dropped a remix of Zakwe's "Sebentin" and the video single. A Skwatta Kamp project may or may not be dropping next year.
