Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale's 'Dutty Badmind' + 'Today And Tomorrow'
Ghana's "Dancehall King" Shatta Wale comes through with his new song 'Dutty Badmind' and a video for 'Today And Tomorrow.'
Words by Olufunmilayo Oke and Omololu Refilwe Babatund
Armed with heavy bass, infectious keys and distinct vocals, Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana) has quickly risen to the throne of Ghana's "Dancehall King." Following up on his back-to-back burners "Ganja" and "Gunshot In Ya Face," the 2014 "Ghanaian Artiste of the Year" came through this week with another bass heavy, two-stepping track "Dutty Badmind." And then in a surprise double shot he hit us once more shortly after with the gritty Prince Dovlo-directed video for "Today And Tomorrow" off his Think Big Mixtape. There's still no word on when Shatta's next project is set to drop. For now listen to "Dutty Badmind" and watch the "Today And Tomorrow" video below.
