South African convicted murder Sandile Mantsoe has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for the murder of Karabo Mokeona, his ex-girlfriend.
Acting judge of the South Gauteng High Court, Peet Johnson, described Mantsoe as the devil in disguise and said his sentence should serve to warn that abuse against women won't be tolerated, News24 reports.
Mantsoe's sentence is broken down into 30 years for the murder, five years for assault and four years for attempting to obstruct the course of justice.

Judge Johnson: what you call remorse is really self pity.
You are more concerned about the fact that you've been caught and are now in court
You are in fact claiming to be the victim without any regard for the deceased. KM#KaraboMokoena#SandileMantsoe

Mokoena's family have called Mantsoe a cold-hearted murder for his lack of remorse.
Mokoena's mother was quoted by IOL as saying:
"It is very painful to see this man's lack of remorse for what he did to my daughter. He doesn't show any guilt whatsoever for what he has done. He's acting as if everything is normal, without a care in the world about what has happened."
Mantsoe killed his ex-girlfriend Karabo Mokoena, burned her body and dumped it in a veld in Lyndhurst in 2017.
Karabo's murder is but one of many series of murders and kidnappings that have been happening in South Africa for years, giving birth to movements such as #NotInMyName, among others.

I honestly think #SandileMantsoe thought he would get the same outcome as Oscar, he probably calculated his age and thought if he gets 6 years He would be able to catch up with life.

#SandileMantsoe the fact that he shows no remorse is sickening! South African Man Have Failed Us💔😭 No Sentence Even If It Was Life Can Cover Up For The Fact That He Believes He Did Nothing Wrong!
