popsnotthefather shares visuals for 'KARMAKOLLEKT.'
Buzzing South African hip-hop artist popsnotthefarher recently shared visuals for the song "KARMAKOLLEKT." In the video, which is directed by Clout Cassette, the rapper/singer's girlfriend decides to walk away from him after a quarrel in the car.
In "KARMAKOLLEKT," popsnotthefarher sings to his girlfriend about how he is aware that she's unfaithful. It seems the couple has had issues for some time, as he sings in the first verse:
"I just needed you to keep me warm at night/ I was thinking we had all our businesses sorted, like/ Maybe I'm the reason, said I think I'm always right/ & I'm the one who started every time we go on & fight?"
Expect to see cameos from members of innanetwav. (The Big Hash, Southside Mohamed, 808x etc.), the collective pop is part of.
"KARMAKOLLEKT" is a song from popsnotthefarher's new project NNNN (Not Now Not Never). Upon the release of NNNN, popsnotthefather was highlighted by Apple Music in the streaming platform's monthly New Artist Spotlight series.
In the project, popsnotthefather reveals himself as a progressive artist not bounded by any rules or restrictions. NNNN meanders between genres like hip-hop and R&B, with sprinkles of the rapper's wide range of influences.
