NYC: Afro-Punk Pictures Presents the Triptych at Brooklyn Museum

On May 24th the Brooklyn Museum will host the screening of the short-film series The Triptych, presented by Afro-Punk Pictures and the Weeksville Heritage Center. The series highlights the work of the visual artists Sanford Biggers, Wangechi Mutu, and Barron Claiborne, three of the most fascinating and uncompromising figures currently practicing in their field. It was created by Terence Nance, Shawn Peters and Claiborne himself. Hit the jump for three short previews and make sure you attend the screening, which will start at 7pm.
