'Matwetwe' Lead Actor Sibusiso Khwinana's Murderers have Been Identified
Three of the murder suspects have been identified but no arrests have been made as yet.
Sibusiso Khwinana was one of the lead actors in the South African comedy film 'Matwetwe' produced by DJ Black Coffee and comedian and actor Kagiso Lediga. Last week, the young man was senselessly murdered after robbers attempted to steal his cellphone. The three suspects have been identified according to eNCA.
According to the Gauteng Premier David Makhura, three suspects have been identified in Khwinana's murder and the necessary evidence is being gathered before bring them to book and therefore no arrests have been made.
Khwinana's family have issued a plea to those involved in their son's murder to come forward and allow them to obtain closure from his death.
The young man's murder has again highlighted just how common violent crime in particular is becoming in South Africa. Following Khwinana's death, Black Coffee tweeted and said:
"What a loss! How long will it take for us to realize we have a crime problem as country,how many people must die before we do something.Who must we trust to protect us and our Families,who must we vote for? [sic]"
