Watch Major Lazer & Rudimental's South African-Shot Video For 'Let Me Live' feat. Mr Eazi
The new Johannesburg-shot visual spotlights Pantsula dancers and the Gqom scene.
Rudimental and Major Lazer are sharing their brand new collaborative single "Let Me Live," an energetic dancehall-influenced production which sees them joined by Mr Eazi and UK vocalist Anne-Marie. It also features additional vocals from Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
The track's accompanying video is something to behold, as it features some show-stealing shots of pantsula dancers and highlights the rising Gqom scene in South Africa.
The music video, which was directed by South African filmmaker and photographer Chris Saunders, was shot across Johannesburg and London and produced by our own OkayAfrica alumn Allison Swank, Believe Media and Ola! Films.
It's a striking, beautiful clip packed with South African references. This track will surely be getting airplay across parties on both sides of the Atlantic all year.
