Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke Are In Talks to Star In Jordan Peele's Upcoming Thriller 'Us'
Peele's long-awaited follow-up to "Get Out" is on the way.
Black Panther costars Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke may be returning to the big screen together very soon.
The two are in talks to star in Jordan Peele's long-awaited sophomore film "Us," described as an "original and provocative thriller," though plot details are still are yet to be revelaed, Variety reports. The comedian and director shared the film's title, poster, and release date last night on Twitter.
Duke is fresh off his role as M'Baku in both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, whileNyong'o is adding to her already extensive lineup of upcoming roles, which includes leading roles in John Woo's upcoming remake of The Killer, and355, an upcoming all-female ensemble film.
The Handmaid's Tale star Elizabeth Moss is also in talks to star in the film, which will be the first movie produced under Peele's first-look deal with Universal Pictures. He's both writing and directing the film. "Us" comes after the massive success of Peele's 2017 directorial debut Get Out, which he won a Best Screenplay Oscar for earlier this year.
With this stellar group of actors being eyed for lead roles, "Us" is shaping up to be another critical and box office success to add to Peele's expanding resume.
The movie will hit theartres on March 15, 2019 so be ready.
