Listen to Ajebutter22 and Mayorkun's New Single 'Ginger You'

Ajebutter22 and Mayorkun team up to bring fans their newest track "Ginger You".

The duo's effortless and laid-back collaboration is not only a legitimate banger, it's the perfect way to ease into the weekend.

"Ginger You" is a classic Afrobeat number with a mid-tempo rhythm. Produced by Spaxx, the guitar instrumentals right at the beginning of the track in addition to the infectious beat, make for some really easy and enjoyable listening.

Ajebutter22 and Mayorkun sing about their respective love interests and how they've managed to capture their attention. The artists both promise to defend them fiercely with Ajebutter22 even dropping the provocative verse "If you mess with my baby, I'll send you to your Maker".

The new track serves as the follow up to Ajebutter22's joint 5-track EP Make E No Cause Fight 2 with Falz and Boj last year. Ajebutter22 is perhaps best known for his 2017 track "Ghana Bounce" which arguably became one of the biggest the summer anthems at that time.

Commonly referred to as the "Alté King", Ajebutter22 is certainly not rushing when it comes to the rate at which he releases his music. In fact, Pulse NG describes him saying, "Everything is at his serpentine pace. He sings when he wants. He records when the time feels right. And he will damn well release it in the space and manner that he chooses."
