Listen to King Perryy's New Single 'My Darlina'
King Perryy delivers a crisp and soulful Afrobeat track with plenty of bounce as his first official single of the year.
King Perryy has just dropped his first official single of the year titled "My Darlina".
The track is a crisp and soulful Afrobeat track with plenty of bounce—the perfect addition to that (hopefully growing) Valentine's Day playlist.
This year holds a lot of promise for Afro-dancehall musician King Perryy. The Nigerian artist's highly anticipated single "My Darlina" comes ahead of his Citizen of The World EP which is set to be released soon.
A mid-tempo bop produced by Blaise Beatz, the track explores the artist's innermost feelings with regards to a particular love interest while also showing off his softer side with casual bravado coupled with flirty wordplay. The laid-back beat has just enough bounce to get you onto the dance floor (or the bedroom) and vibing to the infectious rhythm.
King Perryy's popularity is on the rise with fans responding favourably to his self-created genre which he refers to as "Continental Sound". Currently signed to DM Records, the artist has released several hits thus far including "Murder" featuring Teni, "Eastern Baby", "Work n' Grind" and "Man on Duty" featuring Timaya.
With a growing fanbase and a growing catalogue of just really dope music, King Perryy is definitely one to watch this year—bet!
