The Labor Day Edition of EVERYDAY AFRIQUE Was the Perfect Way to Close Out Summer '16
Check out images from another epic Labor Day edition of EVERYDAY AFRIQUE.
Our friends at Everyday People and Electrafrique teamed up with Okayafrica for another holiday weekend edition of EVERYDAY AFRIQUE that perfectly capped off summer '16.
We descended onto Brooklyn's Output club on Labor Day where DJs Moma, Rich Knight, Cortega and Kashaka provided the sounds and you—beautiful people—brought the good vibes (and pushed back what would've been the remnants of Hurricane Hermine).
As the sun shined and set, Laolu Senbanjo adorned party goers with his Sacred Art of the Ori body paintings. Allan Kingdom and OWO each connected with the crowd as they touched the mic with amazing performances.
The photos below will tell you so much more of yesterday's festivities. Much thanks to Leon Williams, Miss Matay and Aaron Leaf for lending their lenses for the day!
